Before founding Target + Response, Larry Levis held sales and management positions at Chicago-based radio stations as well as a national rep firm and radio network. As a former radio sales manager, Larry dealt firsthand with the issues of ad inventory management. Larry recognized that direct marketers who know what they can afford for a response could create a new revenue source for quality radio properties and fill any unsold slots. In 1987, he started Target + Response with that premise, and quickly built a base of quality advertisers who were hungry for direct response radio expertise. Today, Target + Response places more per-inquiry radio advertising nationally than any other agency. Larry Levis passed away in April 2009. Click here for memorial information. |
